The Carmona Law, P.A. internship program provides undergraduates college students a comprehensive professional and educational experience in our dynamic and team-oriented law firm. Our program offers real work responsibilities in many practices areas and networking opportunities throughout the firm. At the end of the program, you’ll have a strong sense of accomplishment and an in-depth understanding of what it is like to work in our highly-charged professional environment. For some, it provides the path to a full-time position upon graduation.

College students who have completed at least one full semester of study by the application deadline are eligible to apply. Most successful applicants intern their third semester of college.
What would you be doing?
Intern responsibilities vary depending on the position you are hired for.
Legal interns assist attorneys and case managers in areas of criminal law, personal injury, family law, civil litigation, foreclosure defense, estate planning, business law, trademarks, immigration and many more. As a legal intern your work may include law research, clerical support, client meetings, and general case management.
Business administration (BA) and Marketing interns focus on what it takes to run a law firm. Interns garner first-hand exposure to business strategy and operations. As a BA or Marketing intern your work may include performing market research, developing benchmarking studies, and assisting the team with forecasting and strategic planning.
Carmona Law takes pride in the fact that it considers the “whole candidate” when making selections for its internship program. Selections are made based on many elements of a candidate’s background, including a demonstrated commitment to the local community, academic achievement, leadership, legal aid and clinical experience (if applicable), past employment and extracurricular activities that relate to the work of the Firm and the position you are applying for.
How to Apply?
To be considered for the internship program, you can apply through your university or download the application below. We highly recommend that applicants read the application instructions and gather the requested information before starting the application.
Applications are accepted on a rolling basis until all positions available are filled. Interns should expect to work anywhere between 10-20 hours per week for a minimum period of eight weeks.
